EYLURE EXPRESS PRE-GLUED LASHES FIRST IMPRESSION + REVIEW

ALL THINGS BEAUTYFUL XO

FIRST IMPRESSION: EYLURE PRE-GLUED LASHES:

Hello beautifuls, I'm sorry I haven't posted in so long- everything's been a mad rush!

I read a few months ago on couture girl's blog about these lashes. I was really intrigued because they were only £3.50 whereas the normal Eylure lashes are around £7. However I was put off my the pre-glued bit because my normal lashes I reuse sooooooo many times and I was worried these were only a 1 time thing in which case it wouldn't be worth the money to me.

I didn't end up buying any but every time I went into superdrug I always looked at them. When I went the last time I saw that they were on offer for £2.48 each so I was 100% sold! I had to get them! I only bought 3 pairs because I didn't want to buy lots if I hated them.

N.117 Texture- These lashes caught my eye straight away! Aren't they just so pretty?! They really reminded me of the lashes that Emily Canham wears; long but wispy. I've been keeping my eye out for lashes like these for such a long time now. When I saw these I knew I had to have them and I was right! They're my favourite lashes I've ever worn! They look so natural but beautiful. When I took these out the packaging I must have been too heavy-handed because the eyelashes came out but the pre-glued strip stayed on the plastic. I wasn't sure what was going to happen, whether I could use them but they were absolutely fine! I treated them like normal lashes and used normal lash glue.

N.035 Lengthen- These lashes really reminded me of the Lashes By Cheryl N.114. The perfect natural lashes. These lashes are very long (in width) and my eyes aren't long at all so I did have to cut them down but it was very tricky with the pre-glued strip. The pre-glued strip is VERY sticky so be careful when cutting down your lashes. However these are beautiful and are perfect for everyday use.

N.101 Volume- These lashes are very voluminous yet not wide at all. These lashes don't suit me at all. They're still beautiful but they're just not for me!

These lashes are the N.035 Naturals.

These lashes are the N.117 Textured. HOW BEAUTIFUL?!? I'm obsessed!

Overall, I really like these lashes! I think they're an amazing concept and when the pre-glued strip isn't sticky anymore you can use them just as normal lashes with normal glue. They're worth the money 100%!

Have you ever used these lashes? If so, what did you think?

ALL THINGS BEAUTY(FUL) XO

GLOSSYBOX UNBOXING JUNE 2016

Hey Beautifuls, here is everything I got in June's edition of Glossybox. This box is the start of the summer season so everything seems to be summer themed.

As you can see, this is the normal, pale pink packaging. Every few months Glossybox bring out limited edition packaging but this is the standard one you will receive most months. Isn't it beautiful?!

Like in every box you receive a card telling you a little more about all the products you have inside this particular box. It tells you how much everything is worth and how to use it etc. It also gives you a sneak peak into next months box which in this case it says next month everyone will receive UTAN innovative nourishing night tan.

Here is everything you get inside this box. At first glance I was very impressed. you need to remember that This box only cost £10 +P&P- which lets be honest, is an absolute bargain!

LADIVAL- Sun Protection Spray SPF 15 - FULL SIZE  £19.99. How amazing!?! This one product is worth the whole box doubled! So its worth its money for this alone right?

DE BRUYERE- After sun lotion FULL SIZE £9.48.  Another a full size product which makes this box completely worth it!

EMITE MAKEUP- Lip & Cheek Tint FULL SIZE £12.50. Yet another full size product!

KONJAC SPONGE- FULL SIZE £6.99. This exfoliating sponge is the newer, softer way to exfoliate your skin.

ORIGINS- GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturizer 15 ML sample.  Full size is worth £24. Origins is a brand almost everybody has heard of and knows many people love! You also receive a code to get a free face mask if you buy the full size of this from Origins.com.

AUSSIE- 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Conditioner £1.09

That's everything inside this months box. I am over the moon with this months box, I love it! The contents of this box is worth at least £50!! That's amazing.

GLOSSYBOX UNBOXING MAY 2016

ALL THINGS BEAUTY(FUL) XO

GLOSSYBOX UNBOXING MAY 2016

Hey beautifuls!
I recently subscribed to Glossy box! If you don't already know, Glossy box is a monthly beauty subscription box which contains beauty items for you to try. It's a great way of trying products you wouldn't usually try.

When you sign up, you're asked a few questions, such as:
-what colour hair do you have?
-what is your skin tone?
-what is your skin type?
-what type of products are your favourite to try?

This way you won't ever receive something that isn't for your skin tone or type. I think that's amazing because not all beauty boxes do this!

This month the box was different, they're normally a pink box.

You don't always receive all full sized products every time. It's normally 2 or 3 full sized products and then a few (generous) samples. For £10 a month I think this is absolutely amazing! You can buy the boxes as a one off or you can buy them monthly. If you buy them in a bundle, for example; 3 months worth or 6 or 12 months, you get a discount but I believe you do have to pay that cost upfront. Obviously I know many people like myself cannot afford to just pay out for 12 boxes all at once but maybe if a few family members go in for your birthday or something, that would make the perfect gift!

This is how it comes inside, you receive a welcoming card (I'm not sure if you get this in every box or just the first). There was also a card about a competition being hosted on Instagram. The final card was explaining all the products inside this box and what the full prices of them are.

So here is everything I received in my May box:
- HAIRON Zero crease Hair Tie £3.99
- ABSOLUTE NEW YORK Velvet Lippie £4.93
- HAWAIIAN TROPIC Protective Dry Oil SPF 15  £13.99 (for full size)
-BEE GOOD YOUTH Enhancing plump and firm moisturiser £23.50 (for full size)
-REVLON Dramatic definition Mascara £9.99
Also as an extra treat they put In a bag of PROPER CORN sweet and salty popcorn.

APRIL FAVOURITES

ALL THINGS BEAUTYFUL XO

APRIL FAVOURITES

Hey beautifuls!
Here are the things I have been loving during April.

EYLURE Pro-brow dye kit £7.50
I absolutely LOVE this eyebrow dye. My hair is naturally blonde so keeping up my brunette hair means I have to keep up my brows also. There are many different shades but I choose black as my eyebrows are very sparse and I find the darker I buy it, the more thick and full they look. It takes no time at all to do and it lasts 6-8 weeks which I think is amazing!

SOAP & GLORY Butter Yourself Moisturiser £10
This moisturiser is so beautiful! it smells amazing and leaves your skin feeling silky soft. Containing orange water juice and mango oils it genuinely couldn't smell any better for me. I adore anything fruity or citrusy!

BAREMINERALS Prep Step primer £15
This prep cream was given to me to try and I have fallen completely in love with it! Okay so I normally only have a matte face because I don't feel like dewiness suits my face which is so annoying. Then I tried this and I love the way it makes my skin look. I'm always that person who wears a full coverage foundation because I like to look like I have clear skin but after using this I don't feel like I need the full coverage as this makes my skin look so healthy; especially coming into the summer months.

B. Flawless complete coverage foundation £9.99
So my story with this foundation is that I went into superdrug to find a cheap foundation I could wear to work and I found this. It was on offer at the time for £4.99 which I thought was amazing and I decided to buy it! I now own  about 5 bottles of this foundation! I absolutely love it! It is always on offer too which Is a bonus! When I go out of an evening I will pick this foundation over my Estee Lauder anyday! I really want to get into peoples heads that you don't need to spend crazy amounts of money on foundation for it to be good! Please give this foundation a try!

RIMMEL Wake me up concealer £5.49
So this concealer was a bit of a craze about a year ago and I never went and got it. I decided recently it was time and now I actually really like it! I have mine in the shade ivory which is perfect for brightening up the under-eye area. It conceals, it brightens; it does everything you want it to do!

There you go beautifuls, hope you enjoyed this post. Again, im sorry i haven't posted much but you can expect to see a lot more from me!

Lots of love,
Devon xo

WHAT I EAT IN A DAY

ALL THINGS BEAUTYFUL XO

WHAT I EAT IN A DAY?!

Hello Beautifuls!

I wanted to share with you what I eat in a day. This is what I would eat on a day where I was being good and trying to eat well.
This day in particular was a day where I was working so here is what I take to eat on the go at work and when I get home.

So in the morning I would make a fruit smoothie to take with me on my way to work. I do this because I always forget about breakfast and I know it's so important so I make this as a fun way of eating breakfast! There is a really in-depth post about this strawberry, blueberry and mango smoothie recipe so go and check that out!

For my lunch at work I took A boiled egg salad which literally only had lettuce, cucumber and carrot in because I am quite picky with my salad. I took a small pot of low fat salad cream and I cut up some strawberries and blueberries as another snack. This is quite filling for me and it keeps me going all day at work. If I wasn't eating good food like this then I would be eating cheese sandwiches and crisps so this is definitely the better road to take!

Finally, for dinner this actually has no name. My sister introduced me to this and it really is such a gorgeous healthy meal! It consists of seasoned chicken, slimming world syn-free chips, carrots, peas, sweetcorn and cheese! How amazing is that!? I know cheese isn't healthy but I am following slimming world and I used the cheese as my healthy extra A and so I am allowed it. This meal is so tasty and so easy to throw together, I seriously recommend you try it!

So there you go! To all you nosy people out there (like me) here is what I eat on a healthy day!

What kind of food do you eat on a good day?

Lots of love,
Devon xo

Any blogger will know that there is such a thing as 'writer's block' or whatever you want to call it. We go through a stage where nothing comes to us, we have no ideas and no inspiration. In my own opinion I don't want to post for the sake of it because if I do then I will look at the post and not be proud of it. I feel proud of every single one of my posts and I want it to stay that way for the whole time I blog. I thought I would give anyone who is struggling for inspiration just a few ideas as to you what you could maybe write about.

MARCH FAVOURITES

ALL THINGS BEAUTYFUL XO

MARCH FAVOURITES

Hello beautifuls! I hope you're all having an amazing week! I wanted to share with you the things I have been loving through March! so here they are!

Make up bag- Primark £3
I really don't need anymore makeup bags, I have enough to last me my whole life but I really needed this one! I saw it and it had a 'D' on it and it was only £3 so I just had to buy it, I couldn't resist!

Vaseline intensive care spray moisturiser Aloe Vera £5.99
This stuff is AMAZING! I bought it a little while ago but I also bought a soap and glory moisturiser so I just used that one. This month I found it in the cupboard and thought yes! It's the perfect moisturiser. I go to the gym and this is so handy to take with me. If you haven't tried it yet, you need to! There are different scents but I love Aloe errrrrythang.

ColourPop Ultra matte lip liquid lipstick in stingraye
I LOVEEEEEE this! You can't buy it in England but I managed to get it on Ebay so I was so happy about that! This colour is beautiful and I cannot wait to keep on using it!

Benefit Hervana box blusher £23.50
This such a pretty blush! I love all the Benefit box blushes but this one is a really light soft pink flush. I bought this a few years ago and have used it a lot but kind of forgot about it until this month and I have used it almost everyday since!

Eylure Naturalites lashes £11.50
These are without a doubt one of my favourite pairs of lashes! Every time I wear them someone says 'wow your lashes look amazing!' or 'Your eyelashes are so long!' and every single time I say 'they're not mine' and people are so shocked! That really is a lovely compliment isn't it? I always has short eyelashes and so its great to get complimented on them. If I'm going out I will wear thicker eyelashes but these are perfect for everyday use. They come in twin packs and you can buy them online or at some new look stores.

Mac 130 brush £33
I love love love this brush! It can be used for multiple things but I either use it for foundation application or cream contour which it is sooooooo amazing for!

Morphe 35W Palette £15.95
How pretty is this??? I love this palette, I bought it back in January and I loved it as soon as I opened it but because its so big I put it at the bottom of my palettes and I kind of forgot about it but this month I got it out and I have used it almost everyday since!  This is a warm palette with a mix of matte and shimmery shades but they're all so creamy and pigmented, it's beautiful!

So here are all the things I have been loving in march! What have you been loving this month? Is anything the same as mine? Let me know in the comments!

Lots of love,
Devon xo
