MY PLANS FOR 2016

Hello Beautifuls,

I just wanted the chance to talk about my plans for 2016. I'm calling this year the 'year for going outside my comfort zone'. The reason I say this is because in the past there have been things I've wanted to do but haven't because it makes me uncomfortable and this is no way to live! There are always going to be things that challenge you, but only strong people come through the other side and this year I will be one of those people!


So to start off the year, the first thing I am focussing on is definitely passing my driving test! For most people this is the easiest and most normal thing in the world but for me it's quite the challenge. I don't like to do things I'm not used to and I definitely don't like to do those things with people I don't know. I have tried a few instructors and they haven't been very patient with me.

I'm hoping this will be me this year!

So I bit the bullet and booked my theory test! That's the first step and I'm going to take my time and find the perfect instructor for me! I cannot wait! I mean I'm 20 this year, I think it's about time I learned to drive, don't you?




Next on my list for 2016 is getting back into makeup as a career. When I was 17 I worked for Benefit Cosmetics, my ultimate dream job! I saw an advert for it online and I wanted it soooooo bad! I thought 'Damn, I'm never getting this job I've only had one job before and it was nothing like this'. I decided I wanted it so much that I completely set my heart on it! I went for my 'audition' as they call it and 112 girls were there. I thought 'no chance'. We were there all day and towards the end I was still doing peoples makeup and I looked around and noticed there was only me and one other girl left, they picked us both! it turns out I was young and too out of my comfort zone for that job so I left. Well I'm older and more experienced now and I know what to expect now. I got my dream job once and I can for sure do it again!

I also obviously want to persevere with my blog, I love doing it so much and brings me so much joy knowing I can help at least one person! I've wanted to do it for so long and 2016 was my year!

The last thing on my list is to just simply be happy. I want to work on me and what makes me happy! If something doesn't make you happy, then get rid of it, no matter what! If something makes you happy then grab it by both hands and never let go, no matter what the circumstances!
