MY TANNING ROUTINE

Hello beautifuls!
Hope you're all okay!
Here's my own tanning routine for you...
Below are all the products I will be using:
So I'll be going a little more in detail about what I do to fake tan my skin because unfortunately I belong with Casper the friendly ghost! I've never been able to tan naturally my whole life, it's so infuriating but At least I can kinda fake it a little! I'm not confident using sun beds so this is the route I have to take. I do this normally once a week.

First things first: Jump in the shower!

Above are my favourite body scrubs that I love to use. I always do this before I tan because it takes away all dry skin and evens my skin out completely. After doing this I'll then go on to shave my legs etc, no point me talking about that because everybody does it! (Well actually they don't but that's a conversation for another day)
So my two favourites are soap & glory sugar crush (£8) and LUSH rub rub rub shower scrub (£8.95). You can choose one or you can be greedy and use two like me! I use soap and glory on my lower half of body and lush on the top half; there's no reason behind it I just love both of the smells!
Once I am out of the bath or shower I will then proceed to moisturise my body using a thick, very hydrating moisturiser! Today's pick is the righteous butter by SOAP & GLORY! once this has sunk into my skin and started drying that's when the real fun begins....

Here are my tans of choice, on the left we have ST.MORIZ instant tanning mousse in dark. I use medium also but will apply two coats of medium as opposed to the one coat with dark. You can buy these for £4 from places like boots and superdrug but if you go into a savers shop they're about £2.50, which is a complete bargain!! I've tried expensive tans and am yet to find one better than this. It never streaks and lasts a long time before it starts to fade. What I love about this is if I'm going out last minute I can put this on and it'll make me brown for that evening, but also it develops over 4-8 hours. I always let it dry a shade lighter than I like it because it does definitely get darker over time. Normally I will do it before bed, leave it on overnight and then wash off the residue in the morning.

After this we have CREIGHTONS bronze ambition in medium. So I saw a lady I knew one day and said 'wow have you been away, you look amazing ' and she replied 'no it's my £1 fake tan' yes you heard it!!! One tiny little pound coin for this tan! It's amazing too! I don't tend to use it on my body because I really do love my ST MORIZ but I use this on my face because it comes out as a moisturiser and develops overnight. I don't use ST MORIZ on my face because where it has a colour pay off straight away it tends to sink darker into my pores which is NOT good at all. So using the moisturiser like one makes my face look like its caught the sun!

For £3.50 all together can you really complain??
I don't!

So this is how I tan, let me know how you tan and if there is any products I should try, no matter what the price!

Lots of love,
Devon xo
