So today I have my top 5 favourite Mac lipsticks.
Okay so Mac lipsticks are absolutely raved about in the beauty world and in their own right! I love Mac lipsticks, there are such a wide variety of shades and finishes. Every single person in the world will find a perfect Mac lipstick for them I guarantee it! The standard bullet lipsticks are priced at £15.50 and the retro matte liquid lipsticks are £22. Here are my top 5 in order from lightest to darkest:
Here we have velvet teddy. This is a matte finish lipstick which a simple brown nude. This is a very popular lipstick by Mac because it suits a lot of skin tones. I love this lipstick because of a few reason. 1- it's matte so it lasts all day
2- it's the perfect every day colour
3- you can have any hair or skin colour and it would still suit you
4- it doesn't dry my lips out
If you want a perfect brown nude for everyday wear then go and grab yourself velvet teddy if you haven't already!
Next we have brave. Brave is my all time favourite Mac lipstick that I've tried so far! The colour is perfect, it's a pink based nude and is like a 'kylie Jenner lip' it's beautiful! It's a satin finish so it lasts a long time but also has a nice glow to it. This is such a lovely lipstick and every time I run out I will repurchase it over and over.
This is a retro matte finish in the shade dance with me. This takes matte to a whole nother level! You have to be careful
Because sometimes it will peel in the middle but other than that it's amazing! It's good for going for a meal or something like that because it just does not smudge. So if you're planning a night out and are expecting a cheeky kiss then go for this! It's a pink based red and is perfect for daytime or nighttime. I absolutely love this lipstick.
Next we have Russian red. This is another popular lipstick and Now I know why. This is my most recent Mac purchase and I love this lipstick so much. It's what a call a proper red. It's deep and dark but still so beautiful. Perfect for a night out because it's a matte finish. You can't get a better red. Ruby woo is also nice but I think this is just a tad more classy.
Last but not least we have dark side. This is a very deep purple/maroon amplified cream. This is such a beautiful colour and it looks even better with a tan! This is in a limited edition purple bullet case but it can be purchased in the normal black bullet packaging.
